The cooling trend will continue through Saturday in Pasadena, with daytime highs in the low 80s and nighttime lows near 60 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. Temperatures are expected to rise beginning Sunday, reaching the low 90s by midweek.

Forecasters said Thursday’s high will be near 82 degrees, with low clouds clearing by midday and light winds shifting from west-southwest to south-southwest. Skies will cloud over again Thursday night, with lows around 60 degrees and southeast winds.

Friday and Saturday will bring patchy early morning fog and gradual clearing. Highs will remain in the 82 to 83-degree range, with calm to light afternoon winds. Overnight lows will stay near 59 degrees. No rain is expected — but coastal cloud cover may linger into early afternoons.

Temperatures will remain 3 to 6 degrees below normal through Saturday. Starting Sunday, highs will climb to 84 degrees, then rise to 87 degrees Monday and peak near 92 degrees Wednesday.

Winds will stay light and variable, with afternoon breezes ranging from 5 to 10 mph out of the south-southwest. No wind advisories are in effect for Pasadena.

Saturday will be mostly sunny after morning fog, with a high near 82 degrees. Sunday marks the start of the warming trend, with highs reaching 84 degrees under mostly sunny skies.

The cooler temperatures may offer relief for residents after recent heat. Morning fog could affect visibility for commuters, especially along the 210 Freeway and foothill neighborhoods.

No heat advisories are currently in effect, but forecasters said there is a 25% chance of advisories by midweek if temperatures exceed projections.

Next week’s forecast calls for highs of 90 degrees Tuesday and 92 degrees Wednesday. Morning fog will continue, but afternoons will be mostly sunny and dry. No monsoonal moisture is expected, though conditions are being monitored.
