Councilmember Justin Jones Announces New District Liaison

Lisa Barrios was named the new District Liaison for District 3 by Councilmember Justin Jones.

Barrios, a lifelong Pasadena resident, has worked with local students and families in areas ranging from education, health care, foster care, and immigration, to mentoring and leadership development, in the non-profit and social-enterprise sectors.

The role of a Councilmember District Liaison is to serve as a liaison between the City Councilmember and the community, providing information and assistance to residents and businesses within their district, according to the City.. They also help coordinate community meetings and events, assist with constituent services, and work with city departments to address issues affecting their district.

Jones’ previous District Liaison, Susane Porras, has accepted a position with the Pasadena Police Department.
