County’s Next Step in Fight against COVID-19 to be Announced Today

Mayor Terry Tornek, LA County Supervisor Kathryn Barger, Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti, Long Beach Mayor Robert Garcia and Los Angeles Public Health Director Barbara Ferrer will participate in a press conference at 5:30 p.m. today at the Halls of Administration in downtown LA to reveal new measures enacted to help contain the spread of the deadly Coronavirus.

On Thursday, Gov. Gavin Newsom estimated that 25 million people in the state could be infected with the virus in the coming eight weeks.
