Friday’s forecast calls for sunny skies and a high near 94. Winds will be calm in the morning, shifting to light south-southwest breezes around 5 mph in the afternoon.
Forecasters expect temperatures to decline over the next two days. Saturday will reach a high near 87, followed by 84 on Sunday. Overnight lows will range from the upper 50s to mid-60s.
The broader temperature pattern shows a drop of 4 to 8 degrees Friday, 3 to 6 degrees Saturday, and another 2 to 4 degrees Sunday. By the end of the weekend, highs will be 3 to 6 degrees below seasonal norms.
No precipitation is forecast for Pasadena. The decrease in atmospheric moisture will eliminate the threat of afternoon thunderstorms.
Winds will remain light locally, with calm mornings and gentle southwest breezes in the afternoons. Stronger gusts will be confined to desert and mountain areas outside Pasadena.
