KAMP LA 2022, an immersive, two-day concert inside the Rose Bowl Stadium featuring a dozen K-Pop bands and performers, will be staged in two sets, one Saturday and the other Sunday.
Crowd attendance is expected to be light; one estimate predicted only “12,000+”.
Besides the music, the happenings highlight arts, cuisine, gaming, and “imagery and aesthetics” with acclaimed Los Angeles artist Kenny Scharf.
Featured artists are Seventeen, Kai (of EXO and Super M), Taeyeon, and Somi, in their solo debut U.S. appearances; the iconic Super Junior playing Los Angeles for the first time in six years; iKON in its first U.S. performance since COVID; Momoland, AOMG (Lee-Hi, Gray, Loco, Simon Dominic), Zion.T, and a host of acts performing stateside for the first time, including T1419, BamBam, Fxncy Child (ZICO, CRUSH), and Lapillus.
The events are being produced by South Korea-based immersive entertainment brand, KAMP Global, in partnership with Eventim Live Asia.
Outside the stadium, the Equestrian Loop will remain open at all times, but the Recreational Loop will be closed from 5:00 a.m. until midnight on both Saturday and Sunday.
