The firm, founded in 2015 by attorney Emil Davtyan, represents workers across California in employment disputes including wrongful termination, wage and hour issues, and workplace discrimination. The Pasadena building was designed by Corsini Stark Architects and built specifically for the company, according to the release.
“Our amazing new home is the culmination of a decade’s worth of milestones for our firm,” Davtyan said in the release. “It’s the vision we’ve been pursuing since 2015, when I launched Davtyan Professional Law Corporation on my thirtieth birthday.”
D.Law has grown rapidly over the past decade. Davtyan started the firm in Glendale, and by 2018 it had nine employees in two offices — Glendale and Woodland Hills. Demand for employment law services surged during the pandemic, the company said, pushing the team past 30 members.
Two acquisitions in 2023 accelerated the growth. D.Law acquired the law offices of Kevin T. Barnes in January and integrated Yeremian Law in August, bringing the team to approximately 80, according to the company. That same year, the firm rebranded from Davtyan Law Firm to D.Law and was ranked the No. 1 mid-size business in the Los Angeles Business Journal’s “100 Best Places to Work” list.
By 2024, D.Law said it had grown to 130 employees across four offices. In 2025, the Los Angeles Business Journal named it the fastest-growing law firm in the region, citing a 1,233% increase in attorney count over three years. Inc. Magazine also included D.Law on its national Best Workplaces list that year.
The new Pasadena building includes amenities the company said were designed with employees and clients in mind: kitchen and dining areas, a gym, a game room, an outdoor garden terrace, a lobby that converts to an event space, and a rooftop deck. The company described a grand circular staircase connecting every floor as the building’s central feature, saying it reflects the firm’s emphasis on internal communication.
D.Law did not disclose the building’s specific Pasadena address or a move-in date.
In addition to the Pasadena headquarters, the firm maintains satellite offices in 12 California cities, including Long Beach, San Diego, San Francisco, Sacramento, Fresno, and San Jose, according to the release.
“Everyone talks about explosive growth, but we’ve never chased numbers for the sake of it,” Davtyan said in a separate company statement last year. “For 10 years, we’ve invested in people and culture — and now, the numbers are catching up.”
