Firefighters Contain Madison Heights House Fire

No injuries reported as crews respond within minutes to South Los Robles Avenue home

Fire crews quickly contained and knocked down a residential structure fire Wednesday afternoon in Pasadena’s Madison Heights neighborhood. No injuries were reported.

Smoke was visible from the rear of a split-level home in the 700 block of South  Los Robles Ave. when firefighters arrived at 3:18 p.m., according to Pasadena Fire Department reports.

Fire crews located the blaze inside the rear portion of the structure and conducted a thorough search of both levels of the property.

The blaze was knocked down in 17 minutes, according to Fire Dept. spokesperson Lisa Derderian.

The Pasadena Police Department assisted with traffic control north of the incident, while the San Marino Fire Department provided additional support.
