The 14th annual San Marino Motor Classic, Southern California’s premier automobile showcase, announced its return to Lacy Park on Aug. 23-24, 2025. This prestigious Concours d’Elegance features some of the world’s finest classic cars and has generated over $4 million for local charities.
The San Marino Motor Classic is not a typical car show but a judged competition with several classes. Spectators can vote for their favorite to win a special award. The event is designed to be family-friendly with relatively low ticket prices.
The weekend begins Saturday, Aug. 23, with the Automotive Fine Arts Society exhibit from 4:00-6:00 p.m., hosted by Team Janice Lee Berkshire Hathaway. Internationally renowned automotive artists will display their works with free admission.
Saturday evening features the Symphony of Cars Gala from 6:00-10:00 p.m., hosted by Hing Wa Lee Jewelers and Galpin Aston Martin. This $300-per-person charitable event benefits the Cancer Support Community. The gala includes valet parking, an open bar, gourmet dinner, and presentation of fifteen cars with the Gary Toles Orchestra playing period-appropriate musical compositions.
The main event on Sunday, Aug. 24, runs from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with general admission tickets at $45 in advance and $50 on the day. Children under 12 enter free. A VIP option is available for $175, hosted by Shriners Children’s Hospital, featuring a shaded area with lunch and beverages.
The 2025 Motor Classic is presented by RUSNAK Auto Group and expects about 7,500 attendees. The event operates as an all-volunteer, non-profit organization, ensuring every dollar from sponsors and donations goes directly to charity.
Beneficiaries include Pasadena Humane, San Marino Rotary Foundation, Cancer Support Community, Give Mentor Love Foundation, and Shriners Hospital for Children. The 2024 event generated a record $421,000 in net proceeds.
