Pullos, 27, is serving five years of probation following a three-month jail sentence and her July 2024 sentencing by Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Terry Smerling. The status conference allows the court to monitor compliance with probation terms that include 200 hours of community service, a nine-month alcohol treatment program, a mental health treatment program, and $8,260 in restitution to the other driver.
The crash occurred April 29, 2023, shortly before 1:30 a.m. on the eastbound lanes of the 134 Freeway near Orange Grove Boulevard. According to the California Highway Patrol, Pullos was driving westbound in the eastbound lanes when she collided head-on with another vehicle.
Pasadena Fire Department crews used hydraulic rescue tools to extract Pullos from her vehicle. Both drivers suffered major injuries and were hospitalized. Investigators reportedly determined Pullos’ blood alcohol content was 0.25%, more than three times the legal limit, and found evidence of marijuana edibles and alcohol in her car, according to the CHP. The CHP also reported Pullos had been involved in a hit-and-run collision in Pasadena before entering the freeway.
The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office initially charged Pullos with two felony counts of DUI and one misdemeanor count of hit-and-run. Under a plea agreement, she pleaded no contest to one felony count of DUI causing injury in April 2024, and the remaining charges were dismissed.
During sentencing, Judge Smerling warned Pullos that a future DUI crash resulting in a death would lead to murder charges.
Dan Melnick, Pullos’ attorney, said at the time that Pullos was “very grateful to the court for a minimum sentence and for recognizing her remorse and the strides she has made in her sobriety,” according to Pasadena Now.
The other driver, Courteney Wilder, was initially in critical condition and later filed a civil lawsuit against Pullos seeking damages.
In October 2025, Wilder reportedly reached a settlement of more than $1 million with a Pasadena lounge where Pullos had allegedly worked the night of the crash. The settlement, paid by the lounge’s insurance company, included no admission of liability. Pullos remains a defendant in the civil lawsuit.
Pullos played Molly Lansing-Davis on the ABC soap opera from 2009 until 2023, appearing in nearly 500 episodes. The role has since been recast.
The hearing will be held at Pasadena Courthouse, 300 E. Walnut St.
Pullos served three months in jail before her release on July 29, 2024. Her probation runs through 2029.
