A prominent vacant lot in Old Pasadena that once housed the celebrity-backed Twin Palms Restaurant is now for sale at $2.1 million, with an option for approved development plans at a higher price point.
The 8,534-square-foot parcel at 85 W. Green St., located at the northwest corner of Green Street and De Lacey Avenue in Old Pasadena, is being marketed by the Brandon Michaels Group of Marcus & Millichap as exclusive advisor.
Buyers have two options: purchase the unentitled land for $2.1 million or acquire the property with permits already secured for an 18-unit mixed-use development at $2.5 million.
The site has a colorful history, having served as a gas station before 1994, when it was transformed into Twin Palms Restaurant. Backed by actor Kevin Costner and opened by chef Michael Roberts, Twin Palms operated as a popular local business lunch and nightlife destination until its closure in 2009.
