Thousands of developers, students and tech professionals are expected to converge at the Pasadena Convention Center on Saturday for DevFest Los Angeles 2025, a full–day celebration of technology, creativity and collaboration hosted by Google Developer Groups across Southern California.
The event will feature keynote addresses, hands-on workshops and networking opportunities designed to highlight the latest innovations in artificial intelligence, app development and cloud computing. Attendees will also have access to a job fair, exclusive student discounts, free food and raffles offering Google products.
The program opens at 10:30 a.m. with a keynote from Sharad Aggarwal, global head of strategy, partnerships and AI solutions at Google Cloud.
Subsequent speaker sessions include Ellie Kuang, senior infrastructure consultant at Kaiser Permanente, on monetizing apps; Bryce Howitson, director of user experience at Initio3i, on building accessible AI interfaces; and David Haley, independent director at Murphy USA, on using cloud–powered imaging to accelerate cancer research.
The event concludes with prizes and networking at 5 p.m. Organizers say the festival is intended not only to sharpen technical skills but also to strengthen the local developer community.
DevFest Los Angeles 2025 is presented by Google Developer Groups in Los Angeles, San Fernando Valley, Culver City, Newport Beach, and Los Angeles Android, along with campus chapters at Cal Poly Pomona and Cal State LA, and Women Techmakers of Greater Los Angeles.
