Here is the Pasadena forecast from the National Weather Service as of 2:54 a.m. Monday:

A heat advisory will take effect at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday in Pasadena as temperatures climb into the 90s, forecasters said. The National Weather Service warned of unusually warm days and nights through Thursday, with inland valleys topping 100 degrees.

Sunny skies and light winds are expected Monday, with highs near 91 degrees and lows around 62 degrees. Conditions will remain mostly clear overnight.

Forecasters said Tuesday and Wednesday will bring highs near 90 to 92 degrees in Pasadena, with lows around 63 degrees. Winds will stay light, generally from the southwest.

The advisory covers non-coastal areas, including Pasadena, where heat combined with limited overnight cooling could pose health risks. Officials urged residents to avoid strenuous activity during peak afternoon hours and check on vulnerable neighbors.

Temperatures will ease slightly by Friday, with highs near 88 degrees. The weekend will remain warm, with highs in the upper 80s and lows in the low 60s.

No rain is forecast, though forecasters noted the possibility of monsoonal moisture returning early next week.
