A residential structure fire broke out early Tuesday morning in the 500 block of North Madison Avenue, displacing one adult resident. No injures were reported.
The Pasadena Fire Department responded to the incident at approximately 12:35 a.m., according to Fire Dept. spokesperson Lisa Derderian.
Upon arrival, firefighters found a small bungalow with smoke and fire emanating from the bedroom.
The blaze was confined and quickly extinguished.
Knockdown was declared at 12:45 a.m.
The Pasadena Police Department assisted with traffic control at the scene.
The displaced resident chose to stay with a family member rather than accept Red Cross assistance.
The cause of the fire was not reported.
