Comic book enthusiasts and pop culture fans will converge on the Pasadena Convention Center on May 24, 2025, as Pasadena Comic Con brings together celebrities from television, wrestling, voice acting and comic book artistry for a one-day extravaganza.
The event will feature a special 25th anniversary celebration of “Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue” with a reunion of the original cast, including Rhett Fisher, who played Ryan Mitchell, the Titanium Ranger — the first American-exclusive Ranger in the franchise.
“Pasadena Comic Con will celebrate the 25th anniversary of Power Rangers Lightspeed with a reunion of the main cast along with Photo Ops and a Panel,” event organizers announced. “We will have a very special Cast signed print available for the event as well.”
Attendees can expect a diverse lineup of guest appearances spanning multiple entertainment genres. Television fans will recognize Jerry Mathers, who portrayed the titular character in all 234 episodes of “Leave It to Beaver,” and Denise Crosby, known for her role as Security Chief Tasha Yar in “Star Trek: The Next Generation” and her later work on “The Walking Dead.”
Voice acting enthusiasts will have the opportunity to meet Lori Alan, the voice behind Pearl Krabs on “SpongeBob SquarePants” and Diane Simmons on “Family Guy,” along with Brad Kesten, who voiced Charlie Brown in “The Charlie Brown and Snoopy Show” and several Peanuts television specials.
The convention will also welcome notable figures from the wrestling world, including The Honky Tonk Man, who previously wrestled for World Championship Wrestling and World Wrestling Federation, and Sgt. Slaughter, whose character was incorporated into the G.I. Joe franchise.
Comic book artist Tone Rodriguez, known for his work on “Violent Messiahs,” John Carpenter’s “Snake Plissken Chronicles,” and current lead on “Stray Dogs” and “Feral” with Tony Fleecs, will round out the creative talent at the event.
Actress Yancy Butler, best known for her role as Sara Pezzini in the television series “Witchblade” and appearances in “Hard Target,” “Drop Zone,” and the “Kick-Ass” films, adds to the convention’s star power.
The convention will feature photo opportunities with celebrities and panel discussions, including the special Power Rangers anniversary panel.
