Pasadena Police Investigate Death of Infant Girl

An infant girl was found unresponsive late Wednesday night in the 3300 block of East Foothill Boulevard, according to Pasadena Police Lieutenant Matt Campeau.

At approximately 11:54 p.m. on Thursday, July 31, Pasadena officers responded to a call regarding ‘unknown trouble’ at the location. Upon arrival, officers discovered the unresponsive infant.

The Pasadena Fire Department attempted lifesaving measures but was unable to revive the victim, Campeau said.

According to Campeau the robbery homicide unit has responded to the scene to launch an immediate follow-up investigation. The investigation is currently active, but details remain limited.
