Ciampa, who has volunteered with the Tournament of Roses since 1996, will eventually oversee the 144th Rose Parade and 119th Rose Bowl Game on Jan. 1, 2033. He currently serves as a Vice President on the Executive Committee.
“I’m honored and humbled to join the Tournament of Roses’ Executive Committee,” Ciampa said. “The Tournament of Roses, through the Rose Parade and Rose Bowl Game, has helped make Pasadena a world-renowned destination and brings hope and joy to our community and the entire world each year. I have greatly enjoyed my past 28 years in the Association and look forward to serving in this new role in the coming years, to culminate with my year as President in 2032 and 2033.”
A 28-year member of the Association, Ciampa has participated in Rose Parades since 1997, which marked the first of his 28 Rose Parades.
Since becoming a Committee Chair in 2014, he has led several key Committees, including Tournament Entries, Coronation/VIP Tailgate, Television/Radio, Equestrian and Parade Operations.
Ciampa has worked at Lagerlof, LLP since 1992. Beyond his Tournament of Roses involvement, he has been active in various community organizations, coached youth sports and served as a Cub Scout leader. An avid rugby enthusiast, he also helped establish the Pasadena Youth Rugby Program to grow the sport in the community.
