Last Parent Standing at La Canada Presbyterian Church’s Parent Education Benefit

Ron Pearson, renowned comedian, headlined La Canada Presbyterian Church’s Parent Education annual benefit on Saturday, February 25, 2017. More than 125 people were entertained as Ron brought levity and a lot of laughter to the challenges facing parents with children of all ages. Ron’s performance ended with a standing ovation after he successfully juggled atop a unicycle, accomplishing the seemingly impossible, much like parenting. The benefit was emceed by Ron Pearson and Rev. Dr. Chuck Osburn and raised a record amount of money through underwriting, donations, opportunity drawing and live and online auctions for LCPC’s popular Parent Education Program. The benefit was held at Vertigo Event Venue in Glendale.

The event was hosted by the LCPC Parent Education Board including Ashely Barrett (Benefit Co-Chair), Hillary Clayburgh (Benefit Chair), Katie Enney (Publicity), Lynne Graves (Online Chair), Maggie Mason (Silent Auction Co-Chair), Charlotte Miller (Opportunity Drawing Chair), Angela Shepherd-Isgholian (Class Representative Chair), Ashley Smith, (Secretary), Maria Strong (Silent Auction Co-Chair), Carol Van Citters (Board Chair), Meg Wade (Treasurer) and Anne Bierling (Director).
