
Notice has been given for the Pasadena Unified School District’s General Election for Board of Education Members to be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2026 for Geographic Sub-Districts 1, 3, 5, and 7. Nomination papers for candidates seeking these Board Member seats are available during the period of July 13 through Aug. 7, 2026, in the Office of the City Clerk, 100 North Garfield Avenue, Room S228, Pasadena. Candidates may receive and circulate nomination petitions to gather signatures of registered voters in order to have their names placed on the November 3rd ballot for Members of the Board of Education serving Geographic Sub-Districts 1, 3, 5, and 7, each for a full four-year term for each office.
The official nomination period opened on Monday, July 13 and will close at 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 7, 2026 for School District elections. The City Clerk’s Office is issuing nomination papers during that period to qualified candidates that are registered to vote and reside within the respective Board of Education district being sought. The nomination period will be extended until Wed., Aug. 12, 2026 for only those races where the incumbent candidate does not file for re-election.
Information on how to run for election for these offices will be conducted by the City Clerk staff in the City Clerk’s Office, 100 North Garfield Avenue, Room S228, Pasadena, during the nomination period.
