Los Altos is a proud supporter of local nonprofit Sycamores, and their new logo shows it! Created by Los Altos member Linda Yaussi, the new logo builds upon Sycamores’ rebrand in 2021 and Los Altos’ role as a major benefactor providing youth at the El Nido residence with special gifts and enrichment experiences year-round, in addition to funding important and powerful upgrades to El Nido campus.
In addition, Los Altos created a new Mission statement which states “Our purpose is to enhance and enrich the lives of the youths, adults and families at the El Nido campus community and Sycamores.”
Located in Altadena, Sycamores residential campus, known as “El Nido,” offers an idyllic and welcoming environment for boys who come seeking intervention and care. Referred to as the Short-Term Residential Therapeutic Program (STRTP), it is designed to provide care and supervision to dependent and/or neglected males, ages 11-18, many of whom are a part of the foster care or probation systems.
