A 41-year-old Pasadena man fell to his death at a Metro station early Wednesday morning, according to police.
According to Pasadena Police Lieutenant Matt Campeau that on July 24 at 3:56 a.m., police and fire departments were dispatched to the Metro Memorial Park train station located at 125 East Holly Street for a death investigation.
The victim reportedly fell from an elevated position onto the train platform, based on witness statements. Pasadena Fire Department paramedics pronounced the man deceased at the scene, said Campeau.
According to Campeau while the Memorial Park station was temporarily closed, train operations on the Metro A Line continued uninterrupted, with passengers unable to enter or exit at that particular stop for several hours.
Campeau stated that further investigation is being conducted by the Pasadena Police Department detectives.
