A man died after being struck by a car along Washington Boulevard in Pasadena on Thursday evening, police said.
The collision was reported shortly before 7 p.m. at Washington Boulevard and Hudson Avenue, Pasadena police Lt. Mario Ortiz said.
Officials initially described the victim as a man estimated to be in his 50s or 60s, according to the lieutenant.
The driver remained at the scene and there were no initial signs of a crime, he said.
No further details were available as the investigation remained in its early stages.
