A 35-year-old man was shot to death in Pasadena on Saturday morning, according to Pasadena Police Lieutenant Tim Bundy. The victim was found in the 1100 block of Summit Avenue after officers responded to reports of a shooting.
Upon arrival, officers encountered a man who was later taken into custody as a suspect in the shooting.
The suspect has been identified as Marvin Wright, 64, of Pasadena. Online records indicate Wright is being held on a $2 million bond.
Despite the efforts of Pasadena Fire Department paramedics, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The case is currently under investigation by Robbery Homicide detectives.
