Mayfield Junior School Alumni Come Back to School for Summer

The mark of a good school is when its alumni return to give back to the institution that gave them so much.

It was a working reunion as young Mayfield alumni returned to campus again this year as Summer Program teaching assistants. Every year a number of alumni on summer break from high school or college work the summer program assisting teachers in a variety of summer classes.

Spending time in a place that feels like a second home makes the work feel easy and the experience of helping younger students learn feel genuine. Even if it’s just for a couple of months, sometimes the most memorable experiences are the ones that are fleeting but full of value.
