MobilityWorks’ Alternative Wheelchair Solutions

Sometimes, a wheelchair van is not an option when traveling. MobilityWorks offers unique and way cooler alternatives for those with a more active lifestyle.

For many PWDs, being wheelchair bound is not an excuse to live less. A wheelchair van to get around in just won’t cut it for some with much more active lifestyles.

MobilityWorks understands this. Which is why it offers unique alternatives for those who don’t care too much for the regular wheelchair van.

For PWDs who want to forego the mini-van and use the baddest SUVs around for their adventuring, MobilityWorks offers the Mobility SVM and the TMN Robot to fit the vehicles of its customer’s choice.

The SVM or Speedy Lift is a special add-on where customers just back an empty wheelchair up the lift, and with the push on the IN button, the Speedy Lift picks the chai up and secures it in place. This is perfect for those who don’t want to waste time lugging and folding their wheelchairs onto a vehicle.

The TMN Robot, on the other hand, is an automated wheelchair storage system for autos, vans and SUVs. This is suited for PWDs who are capable of driving and transferring from their wheelchairs to the driver seat themselves. How it works is, once the driver has transferred seats, the arm takes the chair, and stores it at the rear of the vehicle on its own. Perfect for those who want to travel alone.

Finally, there is the Conquest Trike, a unique motorbike that gives wheelchair users the open air freedom of riding a bike on their own. The Conquest is derived from a BMW 110 CC engine modified to let wheelchair users ride on their own, or with a companion. The Conquest is large enough to fit a wheelchair and an extra passenger as well for those who wish to bring along some company.

Many feel that becoming a PWD will limit their freedom, and fear that their former lifestyles would be but a shade in the shadow of their unfortunate situation. However, with MobilityWorks’ products, those fears are assuaged and hope for individuality and freedom is restored.
