KROST, a certified public accounting and consulting firm founded in and operating in Pasadena since 1939, has promoted Matthew Weber to the position of Principal.
Weber joined KROST’s tax practice in July 2015 and has over a decade of experience in public accounting.
Prior to his current role, he served as a Tax Manager at a Big 4 firm in Los Angeles.
As a Tax Director at KROST, Weber has consistently demonstrated a deep understanding of federal and multi-state tax compliance and consulting for individuals, corporations, and partnerships. His expertise spans across a wide range of industries, including financial services, real estate, entertainment, restaurants, technology, and manufacturing.
In his new role as Principal, Weber will continue to lead in delivering top-tier client-centered solutions, fostering innovation, and contributing to the continued growth of KROST.

Weber received a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce with an emphasis in Accountancy from DePaul University in 2009. He also received a Master’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Southern California in 2010.
He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA).
