The company, which trades on the Nasdaq under the ticker VHUB, built its first prototype at 518 S. Fair Oaks Ave. in Pasadena and publicly demonstrated its initial Smart Store there in October 2023. Less than three years later, VenHub has reported more than 1,000 pre-orders for its autonomous retail units — representing a potential contract value exceeding $300 million if all orders convert at current pricing, according to the company’s Nasdaq listing disclosure — and is now doubling its Las Vegas production capacity.
The new facility will operate alongside VenHub’s existing Las Vegas headquarters and production operations, creating what the company described in a March 18 press release as an expanded hub integrating engineering, manufacturing, testing, and deployment preparation.
“The significant production capacity enabled by our second, larger facility in Las Vegas is a pivotal step forward for our ability to scale Smart Store deployments,” Shahan Ohanessian, CEO of VenHub, said in the announcement.
VenHub’s Smart Stores are modular units that operate around the clock without on-site staff, combining robotics, real-time inventory tracking, and mobile-based checkout, according to the company. The stores are already operating at Los Angeles Union Station and the LAX Metro Transit Center, according to the press release.
VenHub relocated its corporate headquarters and key operations from Pasadena and Los Angeles to Las Vegas in September 2025, according to a company announcement at the time. That announcement said the company would preserve and expand its California capabilities.
The company was incorporated in Wyoming in January 2023 as Autonomous Solutions, Inc. and redomiciled as VenHub Global, Inc. in August 2024, according to federal securities filings. It began trading on the Nasdaq on January 30, 2026, through a direct listing.
“Demand for our Smart Stores continues to grow as retail operators are seeking smarter ways to serve customers while also being able to manage their operations more efficiently,” Ohanessian said in the March 18 press release. “Expanding our production capabilities in Las Vegas with this larger, state-of-the-art facility allows us to move faster, deliver our Smart Stores more effectively and support our growing list of partners who are bringing VenHub Smart Stores into their communities.”
Earlier this month, VenHub also announced agreements with independent operators for six new Smart Store locations across the Las Vegas metropolitan area, according to a separate March 5 press release.
The company’s pre-order backlog and expansion plans have been described entirely in company press releases and securities filings. No independent verification of VenHub’s pre-order figures or production targets was available in public records reviewed for this article.
VenHub said the second Las Vegas facility will support the production, assembly, and quality testing of Smart Stores before their deployment nationwide.
