The Pasadena Chamber of Commerce has partnered with member company Indus to offer a trip to South Africa in April 2025, featuring visits to Johannesburg, Kruger National Park, and Cape Town.

The tour, priced at $4,149 per person for double occupancy, includes round-trip airfare from Los Angeles, all local transportation including domestic flights within South Africa, accommodations, and meals as specified.

Travelers who book before Oct. 15 can save $100, reducing the total cost to $4,049. A single supplement is available for an additional $999.

Paul Little, the Chamber’s President and CEO, said that participants don’t have to be Chamber members.

He said the journey would allow participants to “check this one off your bucket list” by visiting South Africa and Kruger National Park.

The itinerary includes opportunities to view wildlife such as lions, elephants, rhinos, giraffes, and hippos during a two-night stay at resorts adjacent to Kruger National Park, with a breathtaking game-drive to spot Africa’s Big Five.

Participants will explore Johannesburg’s vibrant streets and visit Soweto township, described as “a cultural melting pot” with extraordinary heritage sites that will fascinate any visitor.

The tour will continue to Stellenbosch in the Cape Wine Region, known for its Cape Dutch architecture, before concluding in Cape Town, regularly voted one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

Included in the package are seven nights’ accommodation in superior hotels, daily buffet breakfasts, two dinners at hotels, and one dinner at the Gold Restaurant in Cape Town.

The price also covers services of local English-speaking guides, all sightseeing and entrance fees as per the itinerary, transportation in a luxury air-conditioned coach, and all air taxes and fuel surcharges.

The chamber is offering a free informational webinar about the trip on Sept. 24 at 12:30 p.m. To register, visit https://meet.zoho.com/CjkNRQnsCh

Founded in 1888 as the Board of Trade, the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce currently serves more than 1,250 members and aims to enhance the city’s economy, business climate, and quality of life.
