The Pasadena Chamber of Commerce will celebrate the installation of its new Board Chair, Katelyn Barchowsky, at its annual Inaugural Gala on Friday, June 28.

The event, held at the Langham Huntington Hotel in Pasadena, will begin with a hosted cocktail reception and silent auction at 6 p.m., followed by dinner and a festive program at 7:30 p.m.

Barchowsky, the founder of Storied Lane Marketing in Pasadena, will be the youngest person to serve as the Chamber’s volunteer leader in its 136-year history.

Her expertise comes from more than a decade working in industries such as hospitality, nonprofit, and retail.

She has worked for a local private club and event venue, a mid-size ad agency, and in a Fortune 500 company.

Barchowsky currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce and chairs the Member Services Committee.

She previously served on the Development Committee for Union Station Homeless Services and has been featured on the cover of *Business Life Magazine’s* 2021 Women Achievers edition, recognized by the California State Assembly, and commended by Los Angeles County.

“I am looking forward to serving as Chair of the Board over the next year,” Barchowsky said. “It is an honor to lead and serve alongside our dedicated Board members and staff as we work to grow our membership, expand the opportunities we offer and envision what the Pasadena Chamber will become in the years ahead.”

During the evening, the Bill Bogaard Scholarship will be presented to two local students who are emancipated foster youth transferring from a local community college to a four-year university.

Additionally, Chamber member and event silver sponsor Lewis Roca will present a scholarship to a third foster youth pursuing their college education.

The Pasadena Chamber will also recognize two local businesses as Corporate Citizens of the Year for their impact on the Chamber or the greater Pasadena community.

Chamber members have contributed thousands of dollars’ worth of valuable and unique items for the Silent Auction, including travel packages, golf outings, entertainment, event and sports tickets, dinners, opportunities to explore local attractions, and VIP treatment at local wonders.

Proceeds from the Silent Auction support Chamber activities and services for members.

Gold Sponsors for the event include Kaiser Permanente, The Langham Huntington Hotel Pasadena, Rose Bowl Stadium, and Wells Fargo.

Silver Sponsors include Athens Services, The City of Pasadena, The Gas Company, Hollywood Burbank Airport, and Lewis Roca.

Corporate tables, which include ten seats, signage, and recognition, cost $3,000, while individual tickets are priced at $275.

Valet parking and a hosted cocktail reception are included along with a gourmet dinner.
