Pasadena City College police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect who approached a victim at the Metro Bus stop on the college’s main campus and began yelling at them without provocation, before attempting to assault the victim.
The incident occurred on August 23, 2023, at approximately 3:10 p.m.
The suspect is described in a PCC police bulletin as a white male in his late 30s, approximately 5’8″ in height, with a thin build and a balding/receding hairline. He was wearing a white boonie-style hat, an olive drab backpack, a light blue shirt with white lettering on the back, and blue jeans. His face was sunburned.
He may be transient, PCC police said.
During the incident, the suspect spat in the victim’s face and attempted to punch them with his right fist but stopped short of making contact. The suspect then fled the scene on foot, heading southbound into the PCC campus before exiting eastbound across Bonnie Avenue.
