Pasadena City Council to Conduct Hearing on Job Vacancies and Recruitment/Retention Efforts

The Pasadena City Council will conduct a public hearing on Jan. 26, 2026, at 6 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, to report on the current status of job vacancies within the City and to discuss recruitment and retention efforts, according to a public notice issued by the City Council.

The hearing will be held pursuant to Assembly Bill 2561 (McKinnor, 2024) as part of the regularly scheduled City Council meeting. It will take place in the Council Chambers at Pasadena City Hall, 100 North Garfield Avenue, Room 249, Pasadena, CA 91101.

The notice states that the hearing will also provide an opportunity for any recognized employee organization for a bargaining unit to present information.

Members of the public are encouraged to attend and provide comments.
