The Pasadena Community Foundation has announced the appointment of five new members to the group’s board of directors.
The new members will join 15 colleagues on the board, the foundation said in a newsletter.
They are Koko Archibong, Dr. Greta Johnson Mandell, Scott Nesbit, Uma Shrivastava, and Dr. Armineh Tavitian, according to the organization.
“In joining PCF’s 20-member board, they will help guide PCF’s continued COVID-19 response, oversee new Racial Equity and Animal Welfare initiatives, and guide PCF’s broad grantmaking throughout the Pasadena area,” according to the announcement.
The appointments came as the PCF marked an “exceptionally strong year,” despite the ongoing pandemic, the foundation said in a written statement.
The organization finished 2020 with $129.5 million in total assets, more than doubling over the past five years, and more than 400 charitable funds, according to PCF.
