
The college, at 1460 N Lake Ave., Suite 102, offers seven healthcare and veterinary training programs, several of which can be completed in less than a year.
The open house gives prospective students a walk-in opportunity to explore programs including medical assisting, diagnostic medical sonography, medical billing and coding, veterinary assisting and sterile processing.
ICH, as the college is known, was founded in 2007 by registered nurses Bea Martin and Vella Masip. It is part of Legacy Education Inc., a California-based education company that operates four schools across six campuses, according to the company’s website. The Pasadena campus occupies more than 5,200 square feet of classroom, laboratory, library and office space, according to the college’s catalog.
The college holds institutional accreditation from the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools and is licensed by the California Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education. Its vocational nursing program is approved by the Bureau for Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians, and the RN-BSN program received accreditation from the National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation in June 2025, according to a Legacy Education press release.
The college’s campus is located on North Lake Avenue near the 210 Freeway. Parking is available at the back of the building, accessible via East Rio Grande Street. Regular campus hours are 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday.
