Pasadena Man Identified as Victim in January Grapevine Crash

According to Bakersfield Now, the Kern County Sheriff’s Office coroner has identified the person who was killed in a deadly crash on the Grapevine on January 14 as a Pasadena resident.

Robert Steven Meza. 27. was driving on the I-5 close to Fort Tejon Road just after 3:30 a.m. when he was hit by another vehicle.

Meza was pronounced dead at the scene.

All northbound lanes of the Grapevine were closed for about three hours at Fort Tejon Road due to a crash on the I-5 according to the Highway Patrol.
