Pasadena Public Library Catalog Temporarily Unavailable on Sunday

The Pasadena Public Library has announced that its online catalog will be temporarily unavailable starting from Sunday, November 12 at 3 p.m. The library anticipates a return to service by 8 p.m. the same day. 

During this period, all functions of the online catalog, including searches and account logins, will be inaccessible.

The Pasadena Public Library offers a vast collection of free resources to aid students and residents alike. The library’s online catalog is a key component of these resources, providing easy access to the library’s extensive collection.

This is not the first time the library’s catalog system has undergone changes. In November 2020, the library implemented a new catalog system. The library also changed the URL of the catalog to simplify access for its users.

Interruptions to the service are typically due to maintenance or upgrades to improve the system’s performance and user experience.

The library suggested users to plan their library usage accordingly during the temporary unavailability of the online catalog.
