The Pasadena Tournament of Roses Association on Saturday revealed 20 exceptional bands that will showcase their talents in the 135th Rose Parade on January 1, 2024.
The bands, selected by the Association’s volunteer members based on musicianship, marching ability and entertainment value, come from diverse corners of the world, including Costa Rica, Japan and Sweden.
The theme of the Parade is “Celebrating a World of Music,” and each band will bring their unique musical style and culture to Pasadena.
Band visits by Tournament of Roses President Alex Aghajanian have been underway, the Tournament said in the annoucement.
Aghajanian personally delivered the news to each band and told them how excited he was about their participation.
Aghajanian said he is looking forward to cheering on and welcoming each band member along their journey to and in the Rose Parade.
The bands have begun their fundraising efforts to prepare for this monumental event, which will create unforgettable memories as they march down Colorado Boulevard.
Two bands will be added to the lineup when the universities participating in the 110th Rose Bowl Game® are determined in December.
The 2024 Rose Parade bands are listed below, alphabetically.
Bands that would like to participate in the 2025 Rose Parade are encouraged to apply through an online application, available now on the Tournament of Roses website: https://tournamentofroses.com/
