Pasadena Transit Expands Route 51 Service for Rüfüs Du Sol Concert at Rose Bowl

Pasadena Transit will increase Route 51 bus frequency this Saturday, August 16, to accommodate concertgoers attending Rüfüs Du Sol’s Inhale/Exhale World Tour stop at the Rose Bowl Stadium.

Buses will run every 11 minutes from 4:15 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., with service ending at 8:00 p.m., city officials announced.

The concert, set to begin at 7:30 p.m., is expected to draw a large crowd.

Route 51 connects Memorial Park A Line Station to Lincoln & Seco, a stop just a 10-minute ride away and a 15-minute walk—or approximately three-fourths of a mile—from the stadium.

“Take Route 51s every 11 minutes from 4:15 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. from Memorial Park,” Pasadena Transit posted on social media August 15.

Foothill Transit will also operate a dedicated Rose Bowl shuttle from 4:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. to support the influx of attendees.

“Saturday, August 16, 7:30 p.m., Rüfüs Du Sol Inhale/Exhale World Tour: Shuttle service from 4:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.,” Foothill Transit confirmed in its official announcement.

Riders are encouraged to use Google Maps with the “Transit” option for personalized trip planning.

City officials urge attendees to plan ahead and take advantage of enhanced transit options to ensure a smooth arrival.

The concert marks a milestone for the Australian electronic trio, known for their immersive soundscapes and loyal fan base.

“We’ve built this thing very incrementally, gradually … I think that is a really cool thing to have developed, because then there are people who have listened to our music for like 10 years,” drummer James Hunt told the Los Angeles Times.
