Pasadena Water and Power has launched EngagePWP.org, a virtual engagement hub intended to foster ongoing dialogue with customers about electric rates, utility programs, incentives and services.

The initiative is designed to ensure Pasadena Water and Power’s programs continue to reflect the evolving needs and priorities of Pasadena’s diverse residents and businesses, advancing the city’s long-term vision for equity and sustainability.

“Pasadena Water and Power remains committed to listening to our community and staying grounded in the insights we’ve received along the way,” said General Manager David Reyes.

“We invite residents and businesses to be part of the process by visiting EngagePWP.org to help ensure our rates, programs and incentives continue to reflect their needs and priorities.”

EngagePWP.org provides a centralized platform where users can learn more about utility services, access resources and share feedback on a range of utility topics that impact daily life.

Among its first features, the hub invites community input on Pasadena Water and Power’s ongoing electric rate study; in the coming weeks, it will expand to host the public comment period for the Optimized Strategic Plan, detailing Pasadena’s path toward supplying 100 percent carbon-free electricity by 2030.

The site will also provide timely information about upcoming events, contact methods and additional helpful resources to encourage robust participation.

“Community feedback plays a vital role in shaping how we evolve our services,” Reyes added.

“It will help us continue to provide competitive rates, modern technologies and clean energy options that align with Pasadena’s long-term goals for equity and sustainability.”

Pasadena Water and Power serves more than 65,000 electric customers in Pasadena and delivers water to nearly 38,000 households and businesses in Pasadena and adjacent communities in the San Gabriel Valley.

As a community-owned, nonprofit service operated by the City of Pasadena, Pasadena Water and Power’s mission is to benefit its customers and the greater community.
