Pasadena Water and Power to Suspend Online Services for Scheduled Maintenance

System outage will affect MyMeter Portal and mobile app from Friday evening to Sunday night

Pasadena Water and Power will temporarily suspend access to its online services starting Friday, Aug. 1, to perform scheduled maintenance.

The outage will impact the utility’s MyMeter Portal and mobile app, with access unavailable from 6:30 p.m. Friday Aug 1 through 8:00 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 3.

During the maintenance window, customers will not be able to log in, make payments, or view account details.

The City of Pasadena noted the significance of system updates to improve both performance and security across its public-facing platforms.

This is not the first instance of system maintenance affecting MyMeter users.

On May 18, Pasadena Water and Power conducted similar maintenance from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., temporarily impacting online billing access.

That service window was officially documented on the Pasadena Water and Power website and authored by Pasadena Water and Power Media Relations.

While there is no indication that in-person services or utility operations will be affected, customers relying on the MyMeter Portal or mobile app are advised to plan accordingly.

During the outage, account information will not be accessible, and payment processing will be unavailable through digital channels.

The utility recommends checking its official website at https://pwp.cityofpasadena.net/maintenance-notice or following @PWPnews on X for real-time updates and support.
