Pasadena’s Reconnecting Communities 710 Advisory Group is scheduled to hold a special meeting this Thursday to discuss key themes for the 710 corridor.

According to the agenda, presentations from design firm Perkins Eastman on land use themes and from the Department of Transportation on mobility and circulation concepts will be featured.

The committee will also review materials from a community engagement workshop scheduled for April 12, 2025.

The seven-member advisory group includes Ali Barar, Wayne Brandt, Joel Bryant, Mic Hansen, Cynthia Kurtz, Blair Miller, and Randy Shulman. During Thursday’s meeting, they will elect a chair and vice chair, and discuss and adopt a regular meeting date, time, and location.

A significant portion of the meeting will focus on defining the role, charge, deliverables, and timeline of the Land Use and Mobility Standing Committee. The agenda indicates the group will review both land use and mobility materials presented at the April 12 Community Engagement Workshop.

The meeting is scheduled for May 8 at 4:30 p.m. at Robinson Park Recreation Center, 1081 North Fair Oaks Avenue, Pasadena.

Residents can attend in person at Robinson Park Recreation Center or participate virtually via Zoom by visiting https://us02web.zoom.us/j/88573620786.

Public comments will be accepted for both agenda and non-agenda items, with comments limited to three minutes per person. The Chair may limit this time if reasonable under the circumstances. Comments can also be submitted ahead of time by emailing rumartinez@cityofpasadena.net.

All meeting documents and additional information are available for public review on the city’s website at https://www.cityofpasadena.net/city-manager/reconnecting-communities-advisory-group/.
