Most power has been restored to all areas of South Pasadena affected by an electrical outage emanating from Arroyo Drive.
During a call to South Pasadena police at 3 p.m., dispatch related to Pasadena Now that patrol officers discovered a thick cache of downed wires running northbound on Arroyo Drive early Sunday morning.
A brush fire near the 110 freeway was later reported to the South Pasadena Police dept. Outages near Grand Avenue, Orange Grove Avenue and Magnolia Street were also called in by residents. The dispatcher said no further calls relating to outages had been received since the morning hours.
Southern California Edison has issued a tracking number (525784) for residents to track the outage on the SCE.com website. As of 3 p.m., the site shows that all remaining power outage issues should be resolved by 8 a.m. Monday.
