The Pasadena Unified School District is now accepting applications for its new, innovative 6th-grade immersive storytelling academy at McKinley School of the Arts for the 2025-2026 academic year.

The program aims to transform learning through a blend of immersive technology, cultural storytelling, and personalized education.

This initiative represents Pasadena Unified School District’s commitment to preparing students for future success through creative, tech-focused education.

The academy will focus on empowering students in core subjects including English, math, and history while emphasizing creativity. Designed as a culturally responsive, project-based program, the academy will build critical thinking and digital skills essential for today’s technology-driven world.
