The warm weather bathing Pasadena will be interrupted Wednesday when a small low-pressure system moves through the area, bringing a threat of some light rain along with a chance of snow in the mountains.
According to the National Weather Service, the system will include a “slight chance” of thunderstorms across the southern part of the county Wednesday afternoon.
“Rainfall totals are expected to remain on the light side with most areas receiving less than one-quarter inch,” according to the NWS.
Forecasters say today will be significantly cooler, too, with a high of just 61.
The storm system will be short-lived, with conditions drying out for Thursday and Friday and mostly sunny skies will return. The temperature will peak at 77 on Friday, followed by a cooling trend.
