The Pasadena Rent Stabilization Department has partnered with the Loyola Center for Conflict Resolution to provide no-cost mediation services for renters and landlords.

The collaboration aims to amicably resolve housing-related disputes such as repayment schedules, noise disturbances and maintenance issues, according to Rent Stabilization Department Director Helen Morales.

The Loyola Center for Conflict Resolution brings over 30 years of community mediation expertise to the partnership; it was recognized at a 2022 White House ceremony for its contributions to housing stability.

Residents interested in using the mediation services should contact the Pasadena Rent Stabilization Department directly. Housing counselors are available to assist both tenants and landlords, providing guidance and assessing eligibility for mediation services.
