Correction: Rep. Judy Chu to Hold Town Hall in Pasadena on Saturday

Congresswoman will address community concerns at Methodist church event

U.S. Representative Judy Chu will meet with constituents at a town hall meeting on Saturday, June 28 at First United Methodist Church.

The event runs from 3 to 4 p.m. at the church located at 500 E. Colorado Blvd. Admission is free.

Chu represents the 28th Congressional District, which includes Pasadena and the West San Gabriel Valley. She serves on the House Ways and Means Committee, which handles legislation on taxes, revenues, Social Security and Medicare.

The congresswoman also sits on subcommittees for Health, Workers, and Family Support, and Oversight. She serves on the House Budget Committee.

First United Methodist Church (FUMC) Pasadena is hosting the community meeting. Church officials said Chu welcomes questions and concerns from attendees.

The church encouraged residents to invite friends and neighbors to the event.
