Roof Collapses at Pasadena-area Pep Boys

The roof of a local business collapsed late Tuesday morning, forcing the store to be closed until further inspection, according to the Pasadena Police Dept.

Fire officials reported to a call of a collapsed roof at the Pep Boys located at 1135 E. Colorado Blvd. shorlty before 11 a.m. on Tuesday morning, according to Lt. Russ. When they arrived at the store with inspectors, the building was reportedly deemed unsafe and has been closed since.

Russ added the store will remain closed until an inspector can visit the property and investigate the cause of the collapse.
