It will occur two days before Wisconsin is scheduled to play the University of California, Los Angeles, in the same stadium on Saturday, Oct. 17.
Ball led Wisconsin to three consecutive Rose Bowl Games. He is the only player to rush for 100 yards in three of them, according to the Tournament of Roses.
At Wisconsin, Ball set National Collegiate Athletic Association records for career touchdowns, with 83, and career rushing touchdowns, with 77, according to the university’s athletic department. His rushing touchdown total ranks second in college football history, the stadium said. He won the Doak Walker Award as the nation’s best running back in 2012. He later played for the Denver Broncos.
Ball ran for 132 yards against Texas Christian University in the 2011 Rose Bowl Game. He ran for 164 against Oregon in 2012 and 100 against Stanford in 2013. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame on Dec. 9, 2025, and is a member of the Rose Bowl Hall of Fame’s Class of 2025.
The Quarterbacks Club is in its 81st season and is presenting a five-event speaker series. Meetings feature a keynote speaker, a question-and-answer session and networking. The club lists Chris Erskine, a humor columnist who retired from the Los Angeles Times in 2020, as host. The Oct. 15 luncheon is the second meeting of the season, the stadium said.
This season’s meetings are being held in the stadium’s new Field Club, a field-level space in the south end zone. The Oct. 15 program is set for its Kohorst Family Lounge, the stadium said.
The series continues Nov. 18 with Cade McNown, who played at UCLA, and Paul McDonald, who played at the University of Southern California. A meeting is also scheduled for Dec. 3. Joel Klatt and Jenny Taft are scheduled for Jan. 12, 2027.
Doors open at 11:30 a.m. and the program begins at 12:15 p.m., the stadium said. The club lists the luncheon from noon to 1:30 p.m. Tickets are $50 and must be purchased before the event. No walk-up sales will be offered. Seating is limited and advance registration is required, the stadium said. Registration is handled online through the Rose Bowl Legacy Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Only single-event registrations are being sold this season.
