
Pasadena will see a shift from sunny, above-normal temperatures to cooler, wetter conditions beginning this weekend, according to National Weather Service forecasters.
Forecasters said highs near 81 degrees Thursday will fall steadily, with rain expected next Tuesday and Wednesday. The storm could bring significant rainfall across Los Angeles County.
Thursday’s conditions included sunny skies, light winds and highs in the low 80s. Overnight lows were forecast near 54 degrees.
Friday will remain mostly sunny with highs near 79. Winds will be calm, shifting southerly during the day.
By Saturday, highs will cool to around 72. Skies will turn partly cloudy, with southwest winds near 5 mph.
Sunday and Monday will be mostly cloudy, with highs in the low 70s. Rain chances increase Tuesday, with showers likely Wednesday.
Forecast rainfall totals for Los Angeles County range from a quarter to half an inch. Heavier amounts are expected in coastal and mountain areas.
No advisories were in effect Thursday, but forecasters cautioned that rainfall amounts and timing could change as the storm approaches.
