Published on Tuesday, August 4, 2026 | 5:10 am

Seasonably warm weather will continue across Pasadena this week, with National Weather Service forecasters calling for highs in the mid-90s and sunny skies through the weekend.

Forecasters said Tuesday’s high will reach near 95 degrees under clear skies, with calm winds shifting south-southwest around 5 mph in the afternoon. Tonight will be mostly clear with a low near 62.

Wednesday and Thursday will remain sunny, with highs near 94 degrees and overnight lows in the mid-60s. Winds will stay light, generally calm in the evenings and southwest at 5 mph during the afternoons. No precipitation is expected.

Temperatures will hold steady in the low to mid-90s through Thursday before climbing slightly into the mid-90s by Saturday. Overnight lows will gradually rise from the lower 60s to the mid-60s, keeping evenings warm.

No rain is forecast for Pasadena this week. Despite monsoon moisture increasing across Southern California, forecasters said convection is not expected locally.

Light winds will prevail throughout the week, offering little relief from daytime heat. Breezes will remain calm overnight and shift southwest during the afternoons.

Saturday will bring the hottest stretch of the week, with highs near 96 degrees. Sunday will remain warm at 95 degrees before cooling slightly to 91 degrees on Monday.

With temperatures climbing into the mid-90s, residents are advised to take precautions against heat exposure. Hydration and sun protection are recommended, especially for outdoor activities. The consistent warmth may also increase local energy demand.

No heat advisories are currently in effect for Pasadena, though National Weather Service officials noted valley areas across Southern California may see warnings later this week.

Looking ahead, forecasters expect continued sunny and dry conditions into next week. Temperatures will ease slightly by Monday, dropping into the low 90s, but overall warm weather will persist.
