From August 11-12, the Tzu Chi USA gave $82,900 in emergency cash cards to benefit 145 families affected by the Carr Fire. Tzu Chi USA’s volunteers’ efforts continue as we strive to reach as many affected families as possible. We will host four more disaster relief distributions August 16th through the 19th from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the former Kmart building located at 2658 Hilltop Drive in Redding.
Tzu Chi USA provides not only financial aid but spiritual support- necessary to overcome a trauma. We strongly encourage as many shares of our online registration form as possible to inform affected families that they can begin to receive aid via www.tzuchi.us/wildfire-relief-for-carr-fire-survivors.
Tzu Chi USA’s ongoing disaster relief aid is not possible without your support. Practice compassion in action by donating online or texting TZUCHI to 91999. A small gift can make a huge impact in the lives of individuals and families seeking hope during perilous times.
