Pasadena is known for its rich history, culture, and innovation. Now a new online merchandise store launched by Visit Pasadena, the city’s destination management organization, offers a range of products that showcase the beauty and diversity of Pasadena.
The store’s first collection includes items such as totes, stickers, water bottles, and t-shirts, each featuring original illustrations that highlight some of the city’s iconic landmarks, such as the Rose Bowl, the Colorado Street Bridge, and the Huntington Library. The illustrations are designed to evoke a sense of nostalgia, whimsy, and wonder, reflecting the city’s spirit and charm.
But the store is not just about selling souvenirs. It is also about celebrating the local community and its creative talents. That’s why Visit Pasadena has launched “Threads of Pasadena,” a merch campaign that aims to collaborate with local artists, makers, and brands to create unique and authentic products that represent the city’s culture and identity.
“We are so excited to share the love for Pasadena through our first ever online merch store,” Kristin McGrath, Visit Pasadena Executive Director, said.
“It is especially meaningful for us to be able to work with the amazing creatives and artisans born from Pasadena’s hub of arts and culture. With “Threads of Pasadena,” we are honored to spotlight the brilliant local creators, who are making an impact in Pasadena, for the world to experience.”
Spearheaded by the grandson of Matthew “Mack” Robinson and great-nephew of Jackie Robinson, Pasadena CLSC launches its debut line titled “Smell the Roses,” featuring artwork by Dennis Robinson that pays homage to the city’s natural allure. The collection includes crew neck sweatshirts, t-shirts, socks, and hats, each crafted to celebrate Pasadena’s vibrant culture.
The online merchandise store is now accessible at www.visitpasadena.myshopify.com.
Items are also available for purchase and pickup at the Pasadena Visitor Center, located at 300 E. Green Street.
